I’ve been working in the Brazilian and Latin American games industries for the past 25 years, most of that as a video games journalist, including my time helming UOL Jogos, one of the largest Brazilian game sites.
In 2018, I decided it was time to take my experience and jump over the fence into PR and Content Creation, so I started Theogames.
We’re now one of the biggest games PR agencies in Brazil and Latin America and we have been fortunate enough to work with some fantastic global and a wide variety of indie game developers and publishers.
Tim aspires to be the definition of “if you set your mind to it, you can do anything”.
His primary background has been as a self-taught manufacturing engineer where he’s worked in the automotive safety field, the surgical tools field, and most recently in aerospace for SpaceX. He’s also seen stints on the road playing in a few touring bands and managing their social media accounts while on the road. Most recently though, he’s been switching his focus to another life-long passion: gaming.
For a year and a half now, he has been a part of the social media strategy and voice on Twitter for a few companies within gaming including non-profits, agencies, and even TTRPG games. He now brings this experience and his “jump in feet first” attitude to Moonrock.
Kai Cerbana is a dedicated Project Coordinator with experience in a variety of industries. Through content creation, he has worked with brands such as Twitch, EA, Respawn, BenQ, and many others.
Kai joined Moonrock to work with some of the industry’s top professionals and gain experience in the thriving gaming industry. He strives to bring creativity, excellence, and out-of-the-box thinking to all clients and projects he works with.
I spent 25 years covering the global video game industry for international print, online and television outlets for millions of readers and viewers for both the business and consumer media outlets.. I now utilize this knowledge for marketing, consulting and custom writing content within the video game industry. Over the last decade of my journalism career I focused on the production of video content for online syndication.
I co-founded Greenlit Content LLC, which we grew from four to 40 employees in four years and sold to RekTGlobal, Inc. in 2019, earning our investors an 8x exit. We helped companies market to esports and gaming fans across Millennial and Gen Z audiences, including a network of over 100 million gamers. We handled everything from custom websites to social media marketing to video and editorial content covering all aspects of gaming and esports.
I’m currently co-founder of Moonrock Agency, which was launched as a 2.0 marketing agency designed to help gaming companies of all shapes and sizes, including those utilizing blockchain, crypto and NFT technologies. Moonrock is currently working with brands like Amazon Prime Gaming, Red Bull Media House, Square Enix, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft, Neon, HiDef, Vs. Evil, Skydance, Skybound Games and Rogue Games.
